Brewery Ommegang opened in 1997 to brew imaginative craft beers across a variety of styles, with particular emphasis and respect for Belgian brewing traditions. Cooperstown's first and only distillery producing award-winning, hand-crafted spirits celebrating the area's rich agricultural traditions and baseball heritage.  Experience the flavor of 100% New York State Bourbon recently released.  VIP tours and tastings offered at the Distillery production facility, tasting room and shop at 11 Railroad Avenue.  Discover the second location, The Cooperstown Beverage Exchange, at 73 Main Street offering tastings of Distillery products plus a wide-range of New York produced spirits, wines, beers and ciders along with an extensive retail shop.  In the evening , the Cooperstown Beverage Exchange transforms into a craft-cocktail bar and lounge featuring creative libations made with the Exchanges's productes plus Gastropub-style foods. Pail Shop Vineyards opened in 2014 to offer locally grown, small-batch wine in a unique and picturesque setting.  Our goal is to create distinctive and delicious wines from grapes that grow well in upstate New York. Visitors can gather around our handmade wooden bar, sample our unique snacks and chocolates, and shop our carefully chosen selection of foods and wine-related items. The Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard is a historic, water-powered mill on the banks of Fly Creek in the heart of beautiful Central New York just minutes from Cooperstown. For 161 years visitors have witnessed the pressing of fresh, sweet and delicious cider creating an experience that has become a tradition shared by generations.The Mill Store Marketplace is the heart of activity with sampling of over 40 specialty food products, many made right at the Mill. Daily tastings include apple salsa, zesty salad dressings, hot sauces, preserves, aged cheddar cheese and Mill-made fudge.In 2016 the Mill was completely renovated to allow for expanded viewing if the second-story cider-making area.   The new Learning Center is now the prime viewing area to witness the cider-making process on fall weekends.  When not running a video demonstration may be viewed in the Cider Gallery. The Mill’s Farm Winery creates great-tasting Apple Wines and Hard Ciders, all made from 100% New York State Grown Apple County Apples!

Butternuts Beer and Ale was established 2006 by owner and operator Charles Williamson in the bucolic Butternut River Valley.
